For those looking for more adventure, there are multiple mountain biking and hiking trails that offer panoramic views of the lake. There is also plenty of wildlife in the area, so make sure you bring your camera and capture nature.
Sandy Beach Campground
Located in the city of Vernon, this campground is perfect for those looking to go on more day adventures around the city. This spot’s location gives nearby access to the sandy Kin Beach and Paddlewheel Park. Sandy Beach is near shopping malls, grocery stores, beach equipment rentals, and more activities to keep your day full of fun!
There are 28 sites that can accommodate RVs up to 11 meters with 30 amp power and water. The nearest sandy-dump is located nine kilometers away at the Great Canadian Superstore. This site also has four tent sites, and there is no Wi-Fi or laundromat.
